Following the recent devastating earthquake which affected large areas of southern Turkey and northern Syria, there has been an urgent requirement for food to be distributed to the many thousands of people affected.

We have to do our part

The Turkish government quickly published a list of items that were desperately needed. Sinoboom's dealer in Turkey, Uygunlar, urgently discussed the needed items with Sinoboom's International Business team, and Susan Xu, Sinoboom CEO, emphasized that “The materials by the most needed The disaster area must be delivered as soon as possible.”

Together with Uygunlar, Sinoboom arranged the bulk purchase, packing and delivery of all the listed items, which included staples such as rice, bread, water and baby food. Distribution of 5,000 boxes of supplies to affected areas commenced within a week of the earthquake.

Bringing hope

As well as food, we wanted to deliver hope. The team at Uygunlar suggested a touching and heartfelt Turkish proverb, meaning “Every night has a morning, every winter has a spring,” which was printed in both Turkish and Chinese on each box delivered .
